What is Animal Healing?
Healing is the channelling of universal healing energies. It is suitable for all animals. It re-energises and relaxes the animal, enabling their own natural resources to deal with injury or illness. It promotes homeostasis, or balance. Dr Tess is a fully qualified and insured Animal Healer, with many years working with both domestic and wild animals. Tess is a former lecturer and researcher within the Biology Department of Bristol University, and is a registered Graduate of the Healing Animals Organisation.
How may your animals benefit from Animal Healing?
Animal Healing is suitable for all animals. It can help relax and re-energise the animal, alleviating symptoms and improving their quality of life. Benefits may include:
* Reducing stress and revitalising the body
* Releasing endorphins, the body’s natural pain-relieving chemicals
* Assisting with detoxification and strengthening immunity
* Improving circulation throughout the body
* Promoting self-healing and relaxation, and
* Stimulating an emotional release.
It is important to note that healing is complementary to veterinary care and not a substitute. Your vet should also be your first point of call if you are concerned about your animal. The Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 states that only vets can diagnose, treat and advise.
What happens during a session?
The first session will include a free 30 minute initial consultation to determine your animal’s present and past health and lifestyle, so as to tailor the treatment to suit yours and their needs.
Ideally the session is undertaken in the animal’s home, although distance healing is also offered.
Advice will be given about what you can do to maintain or improve your animal’s wellbeing.
